At the 3rd/4th grade level players will participate in practices and 6 round robin games through out the spring season.  One practice will consist of a "clinic" format, in which the girls rotate through various stations to learn/improve fundamental skills, such as cradling, ground balls, passing/catching, shooting, and defense. During the other practice, the girls will practice with their teams.  Games will be played against other townships within the PAGLA organization.

ALL players MUST be a valid member of US Lacrosse (January-July 2020).  To become a member visit:

Please review the  PAGLA rules for Girls 3rd/4th

Be sure to bring your GVGYL Code of Conduct Form to the First Practice

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - The expectation of the program is that your daughter is committed to making practices and games.  This organization is 100% organized and facilitated by volunteers.  To be fair to coaches, teammates, and the teams we play against, we expect that by registering, your daughters are committed to making their team’s practices and games.

There are over 200 girls within the Great Valley Lacrosse Organization. Because this number is so large and so much goes into building our teams, we cannot honor team requests.

The following must be brought to EVERY practice or play will not be permitted:

  • Mouth guard
  • protective eye gear
  • Lacrosse stick
  • Pinnie- will be provided by GVYL

Any player who comes to practice or a game without a mouth guard and eye gear will not be permitted to play.  This is a safety rule and there are no exceptions.  Note: Please remember that all jewelry, including earrings, must be removed prior to all practices and games.

The Lacrosse News/Updates and email are the primary means of communication about practices, games, and schedule changes due to weather conditions, etc. We will also communicate via Team Snap.  You will receive a Team Snap notification once the teams have been formed.

Great Valley Youth Girls Lacrosse is run by volunteer parents just like you! Please consider volunteering your time on our board or on the field.  For more details please email: [email protected]
