Fall 2024 Flag Cheer
Flag football cheerleading will be for athletes in K- 2nd grade to get introduced to the cheerleading program GVCO has to offer. The athletes will learn cheers, dance and jumps. They will cheer during the flag football games and perform at half time to all fans. K-2 athletes can register for just the Fall program or both Fall and Winter. Winter only registration will open on Oct. 1st.
Flag football cheerleading will have a one-hour practice on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 at GVCO. These practices are closed to parents, but the coaches will upload videos to the Facebooks and Instagram pages. The season starts in September and continues until the last flag football game of the season, which is usually the end of October. Games are typically held on Saturdays and once the final schedule it out, the coaches will communicate.
Registration for Fall Cheer will open in July

If your cheerleader wants to continue to cheer through the winter, please sign up for both fall and winter together for a cost savings.

Winter 2024 Cheer
Winter cheerleading will include learning basketball cheers, dances, stunting and jumps. They will cheer during the GVBL tournament team basketball games and perform at half time to all fans. Each week, there will be a one-hour practice on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 at GVCO. The season starts the week after Thanksgiving and continues through mid-February. Specific dates and times of the basketball games will be communicated as they are scheduled in December. Winter only registration will open on Oct. 1st.
