Storm - 7th Grade
The Storm competed in the Competitive Edge summer league featuring rising 7th grade and 8th grade teams. The Storm went 6-1 in the regular season and headed into the playoffs as the number one seed. The faced off in the semi-finals against the Comets. Down 18-8, the Storm turned on the defensive intensity and began making buckets in bunches, led by Lauren Chain on offense and Ava Hall on defense. The final score was 33-22 in an exciting comeback win, propelling them to the championship game. The opponent was the Phoenixville Phantoms, a team looking to avenge a 15-point loss to the Storm earlier in the season. The Phantoms jumped out of the gate hot and held a 12-2 lead halfway through the first half.
