GVCO Caring Hands is starting its 2nd decade of Community Service!

for the 2024-2025 school year.

Caring Hands newsletters and event updates will be sent via Constant Contact to the submitted email addresses for both parent and student. Returning volunteers still need to signup for the 2024-2025 school year. Volunteers can sign up for as many events and shifts as they'd like.

The signup form asks for parent(s) email addresses but parents can add themselves to the Caring Hands 2024-2025 school year Constant Contact list.

Caring Hands Organizational Meeting - Sept. 7th

All 2024-25 Caring Hands registrants are requested to attend an organizational meeting on Sept. 7th from 11:30AM - noon at the GVCO Community Center. GVCO will be reviewing sign-ups, events calendar, volunteer hours tracking, along with a Q&A session.

Community Work Day at GVCO - Sept. 7th

GVCO needs your help in preparing the new field and sprucing up the entrance area. The area needs raking, picking up stray rocks, spreading mulch and planting flowers. Additional details and a sign up will be released soon. Rain date Sept. 8th.

Charlestown Day 2024 - Sept. 28th

The annual Charlestown Day will take place at Charlestown Park on September 28th. GVCO will need volunteers to help set up, clean up, and work event booths from 10:30-3:30 to help out with this event. Keep an eye out for a sign up link if you are interested in being a part of this opportunity.
