GVCO Board of Directors: 

Drew Alleva

Drew Alleva is a lifelong resident of Chester County and a graduate of Great Valley High School.

Professional / Affiliations
Drew founded Charlestown Paving and Excavating, Inc. with his partner in 1987. The company has performed commercial and residential paving and excavating services for and wide range of industries including local and state governments, private corporations and churches in the Delaware Valley area for more than 30 years. Drew has served as President since its inception overseeing all aspects of the company including operations, management and finance.

Drew served on the Advisory Board for First Financial Bank in Malvern and enjoys being involved in local philanthropy including: construction of a playground for the disabled; construction of a new Boy Scouts cabin and Challenger fishing tournaments.

Drew lives in Chester Springs with his wife, Marjorie and two children who are currently students at Great Valley High School. They have enjoyed participating in the programs offered by GVCO throughout the years.

Rob Cottone

Robert began his career in the construction industry over thirty years ago. While attending Conestoga High School, Robert started his own general contracting firm focusing primarily on the commercial market.

Robert began his career in the construction industry over thirty years ago. While attending Conestoga High School, Robert started his own general contracting firm focusing primarily on the commercial market. In one capacity or another, Robert performed or supervised all of the building trades involved in renovation and new construction of businesses, churches and schools in the Philadelphia Main Line area.

Educational Background
Robert graduated from LaSalle University and continued his contracting business that is still an active firm in the Philadelphia area.

Rob has been married for over 30 years has 4 children and resides in Malvern, PA. He enjoys cooking, woodworking, golf, basketball, refereeing and has coached for over 20 years.

Tom Curran

Tom Curran established the Great Valley Basketball League (GVBL) with Keith Walsh in 2001 and has been involved with GVCO from the beginning. Over the years his roles with GVCO have included coaching, league management, database coordination, business planning, financial oversight, coordination with external partner organizations, and capital campaign fundraising. Tom grew up in Drexel Hill and he and his family moved to Malvern in 1996.

Professional / Affiliations
Tom has been involved in international development for environmental monitoring instrumentation since 1980. He began his career in Philadelphia working for VIZ Manufacturing Company, eventually becoming a board member and Vice President of Marketing. After several business acquisitions Tom joined Lockheed Martin in 2004 and now is the Business Development Manager for Oceanographic and Meteorological Systems. Over the years Tom has engaged in business in over 100 countries, establishing both local sales representatives and manufacturing licensees throughout the world. Outside of work and GVCO he has served on the Great Valley School District Strategic Planning Committee, the K.D. Markley PTO, and the committee raising $50,000 for the K.D. Markley playground.

Educational Background
Tom graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in 1975, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from St. Joseph's University in 1979. He attended Drexel University for postgraduate studies focused on international marketing.

Tom lives in East Whiteland Township with his wife Ann. Their children Mike and KC are Great Valley High School graduates, and are both now living in nearby communities. The recent arrivals of granddaughters Margo and Harriett have created lots of excitement in the family, Tom's interests include traveling, watching sports, reading, and backyard projects. Ann and Tom look forward to many vacation trips in the future.

Harry DiDonato

Harry is a life-long resident of Malvern. A recent addition to the GVCO Board, Harry has previously served on the boards of Chester Valley Golf Club and Devon Preparatory School.

Professional / Affiliations
Harry is a partner in the law firm of MacElree Harvey, one of the largest Chester County-based law firms serving clients across Pennsylvania and in the region in multiple areas of the law. Harry has over 25 years of legal experience counseling individuals, small businesses and middle market companies regarding all aspects of general business and corporate matters, real estate transactions, financing transactions, business sales and succession, and tax planning.

Educational Background
Harry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, and his J.D. and LL.M. from Villanova University School of Law.

Harry lives in Malvern with his wife Cristy and enjoyed coaching all three of his children in basketball which pretty much destroyed any chance of an athletic scholarship for each of them. Harry is a passionate fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Bud Haly

Bud Haly is a lifelong resident of Chester County and a graduate of Great Valley High School.

Bud is President of Haly Oil and Great Valley Propane as well as Haly Home Services an industry he has worked in for 30 + years. Bud served on the Board at the Hilltop Prepatory School.

Bud lives in Malvern with his Joann and two children. Their family participated in and enjoyed the various programs within GVCO.

Dennis Zatlin

Mr. Zatlin is extremely philanthropic and continues to give back to the local community. He is an active Board Member of the GVCO and has been involved in several charities including: Bringing Hope Home, Toys for Tots, David Akers Kicks for Kids and the Children's Hospital Family Life Foundation.

Professional / Affiliations
Dennis spent 18 years in the engineering consulting space, as Vice President of Operations for a large firm, providing Engineering, Risk Mitigation and Project Delivery Services.

Dennis, Linda and their two children reside in Malvern, Pa.
