GVCO Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is a non-fiduciary body responsible for helping with the continual development of the mission and vision of GVCO. Advisory Board members are community leaders who are capable of positively influencing the direction of the organization. This group of volunteers assists GVCO and its staff in the management and administration of the organizations strategic plan.

Jeff Dill Jeff Dill

Jeff Dill joined the GVCO board in 2013. Jeff has lived in Malvern since 2004 after living in Wayne for several years. Jeff grew up in Rocky Hill, CT.

Professional / Affiliations
Jeff is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Vynamic, where he has worked since 2005. Vynamic is a healthcare industry management consulting firm located in Philadelphia. Prior to Vynamic, Jeff's work experience included working for Accenture, a global consulting and technology company. Jeff also became a Board Member of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia in 2012.

Educational Background
Jeff attended Rocky Hill High School in Rocky Hill, CT where he played both basketball and soccer. He attended college at Holy Cross in Worcester, MA where he played Division 1 soccer.

Personal
Jeff lives in Malvern with his wife, Stefanie, and three daughters Julia, Aimee and Natalie. With all three kids now in elementary school, Jeff has really enjoyed coaching them in both basketball and soccer. In addition to his passion for coaching, Jeff enjoys heading to Avalon, NJ in the summers and watching any and all sports.

Denise Kerns Denise Kerns

Denise Kerns is a recent member of the GVCO Board, beginning April 2016. She is also co-president and treasurer of Great Valley Crew; a competitive rowing team formed December 2015, by two moms with no rowing experience, Denise and Meredith Mitchell, some knowledgeable advisors and a few believers cheering them on.

Denise grew up in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Willistown Towship in 2009, with her husband, Andy and at the time 3 children, Andrew, Jonathan, Taylor, from Montgomery County, PA. They have since added a fourth child in 2013, Annabelle.

Professional / Affiliations
Prior to the addition of their 4th child, Denise worked for 15 years in center city Philadelphia for Exude Benefits Group. Exude is a leading brokerage firm specializing in Health Benefits, Human Resource Consulting, Retirement plans, Property and Liability Insurance and specialized markets. Denise helped grow the company from its 5 original employees when she started, to 34 employees when she left the company in 2013. She was an internal Director for the Account Management team as well as the Director of the Non-Profit Practice Group and helped with external sales.

Denise is currently working part-time in West Chester at Tegler McHenry & Associates, a local brokerage firm specializing in employee benefits consulting for mid-sized firms. This new role and locality allows more time with her children and to pursue ventures with her children and in the community.

Educational Background
Denise graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School in 1989, she also went to Cosmetology school and graduated in June 1990. She then went on and earned a BBA in Risk Management and Insurance with a minor in HR from Temple University's Fox School of Business.

Personal
Denise lives in Willistown with her husband, Andy and their four children. Denise enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, being outdoors, running, and going to MD on long summer weekends for boating, beaching and downtime with no wifi.

Kelly Prevost Kelly Prevost

Kelly Prevost joined the GVCO board in 2015. Kelly also serves on the GVFL board as the special events coordinator, a position she has held since 2012. Recently, Kelly was instrumental in facilitating the addition of competitive cheerleading to the list of activities offered by GVCO. Kelly grew up in a small farm town in Ohio. She moved to Villanova after college to become a nanny. Eventually Kelly ended up in Willistown where she and her husband (Dave) purchased a home in 2000.

Professional / Affiliations
Kelly spent seven years as the middle school guidance counselor at the Academy of Notre Dame in Villanova. While there, she served as the JV volleyball coach and assistant softball coach. Once her children started school, Kelly's entrepreneurial skills kicked in and she started several successful home-based businesses. Since then, Kelly has been a small business owner and does merchandizing and marketing consulting for other small businesses.

Educational Background
Kelly attended Seneca East High School in Attica, Ohio. After graduation, she attended Ohio University and studied psychology and sociology. From there, Kelly went on to Villanova University where she received her Masters Degree in Counseling and Human Relations.

Personal
Kelly lives in Willistown with her husband Dave and their three children, Jake, Livy and Caroline. With several seasons of basketball, football and cheerleading under her belt, Kelly is grateful for what her children have been offered through GVCO and is passionate and excited about what lies ahead! In the rare off-season, Kelly, Dave and their children enjoy spending time at their cottage on the Chesapeake and entertaining friends by their backyard bonfire.

Alex Utecht Alex Utecht

Alex Utecht has been on the GVCO Board of Directors since 2011 and he serves on the GVCO Finance Committee. Alex also serves on the GVFL Board and is the GVFL Football Coordinator. Alex grew up in Erie, PA and Charlottesville, VA. In 2003, Alex and his family moved to Malvern from Bermuda after his company relocated to Radnor.

Professional / Affiliations
Alex has worked at Stevens Capital Management for over 20 years. He was a futures and equities trader for the bulk of his career and is now an account analyst. Prior to working in the hedge fund industry, Alex worked in operations for Wachovia Bank in North Carolina. Alex is a member of the Chester Valley Golf Club.

Educational Background
Alex attended Western Albemarle High School in Crozet, VA and accepted an athletic scholarship to The College of William & Mary. He played four years of Varsity football for the Tribe and was elected team Captain in 1992. Alex graduated from William & Mary in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Personal
Alex lives in Malvern with his wife Allison and their four children Xander, Allyssa, Adam, and Abraham. He is an avid follower of William & Mary Tribe football and Great Valley sports. Alex enjoys spending time with his family and his hobbies include coaching youth sports, physical fitness, golf, and fishing.
