It's Official... GV Crew is Moving!
Starting with the Fall season 2020, Great Valley Crew will be rowing out of the John S. Trinsey Jr. Memorial Boathouse which is also home of the Upper Merion Rowing Association. Many thanks to Marcy Schell for her work in making this happen! The boathouse is also fully equipped with 24 ergs and is part of the Upper Merion John S. Trinsey Jr. Memorial Boathouse Township Park. The boathouse is located on the Schuylkill River in Bridgeport, just past the King of Prussia Mall.

- No experience necessary to row with GV Crew! Most rowers start in high school so it's a great sport for trying something new.
- Boys & Girls Grades 8-12 can join GV Crew. Note: 8th graders can train and practice, but are not eligible to compete in the regattas.
- There is NO TRANSPORTATION provided to practices or to our regattas in Philly, NJ and DEL. There is a voluntary parent-led carpool for those that want to participate.
- We practice out of the John S. Trinsey Jr. Memorial Boathouse in Bridgeport on the Schuylkill River, approximately 20 minutes from GVHS.
- PLEASE NOTE: This is a competitive rowing team, we need your full commitment to all practices and regattas. We need the whole team at every practice to ensure we can get on the water ever day the weather conditions allow. One rower missing practice often means an entire boat has to stay on-land.
