Shawn Werdt Clinics

For current Great Valley Tournament Team players of all ages. The clinics will be held at GVMS and hosted by Coach Shawn Werdt on Wednesdays at 5:30pm, 6:30pm and 7:30pm.

Scheduled dates are as follows: March 29th, April 12th, 19th, 26th, May 17th and 24th. Registration is open now.

All participants must be fully registered and paid prior to participating.

About Shawn Werdt:

Since 2013, Sean Werdt has been the Boys’ Varsity Head Basketball Coach at Germantown Friends School and has led the program to the winningest decade of boys’ basketball since 1980. He was the Philadelphia University Assistant Men’s Basketball coach for 5 years where he was responsible for all facets of the program, with emphasis on recruiting, game preparation, and player development. Girls Summer Basketball Camp

Girls in grades 4-8 as of Fall 2023 are invited to develop their basketball skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and fun environment with the GVHS Girls Varsity Basketball team members and coaches. The camp promotes teamwork, sportsmanship and the power of a positive attitude.

Camp will be held June 19-22, 2023 from 1-4 PM at the Great Valley High School Main Gym. All campers will receive a free t-shirt.

Camp schedule:

• 1:00: Stations / fundamentals
• 2:10 Individual competitions
• 2:35 Team competitions
• 3:00 Team games
• 3:50 Camp meeting / daily wrap-up

Proceeds benefit the GVHS Girls Basketball Booster Club.
