Skills Academy

GVBL Agility Clinic

GVBL Skills Academy is currently working on making a new agility clinic available starting in Spring 2020 and is being offered by the great team at Driven Strength and Fitness in Exton, drivenstrengthandfitness.com. Spring offers players the opportunity to keep training after the winter basketball season has ended.

Several Tournament Team Coaches and players will be attending an Open House session this coming Saturday 2/8, to talk to the training staff, observe a session, and build the structure of the new clinic.

Stay tuned for information on this new clinic, which will be offered in the Spring. Cost, session times and more details around the program will be provided in the next couple of weeks. The clinics will be open to players on both the girls and boys Tournament Teams, grades 4 through 8.

GVBL Spring Shooting Clinic

We have coach Shawn Werdt (Germantown Friends Head Coach and former Herb Magee assistant) set to run shooting clinics for our teams again this Spring.
Many of our teams have done these clinics for the past few seasons and there has been great feedback from the players and their parents. These clinics are especially beneficial to our younger teams because Shawn does a great job teaching the kids the proper shooting form.  The earlier the kids learn the proper shooting form, the better.

The GVBL Skills Academy is offering 3 one hour sessions each Tuesday starting on 3/10
The sessions will start at 5:30pm, 6:45pm, and 8pm.

The 6 week schedule will be:

3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31, 4/14, & 4/21 - 4/7 (Off for Spring Break)

Each Wednesday starting 3/18 : sessions at 6:45pm & 8pm

6 week schedule will be

3/18, 3/25, 4/1, 4/15, 4/22, & 4/29
