Drew Alleva Drew Alleva

Drew Alleva is a lifelong resident of Chester County and a graduate of Great Valley High School.

Professional / Affiliations
Drew founded Charlestown Paving and Excavating, Inc. with his partner in 1987. The company has performed commercial and residential paving and excavating services for and wide range of industries including local and state governments, private corporations and churches in the Delaware Valley area for more than 30 years. Drew has served as President since its inception overseeing all aspects of the company including operations, management and finance.

Drew served on the Advisory Board for First Financial Bank in Malvern and enjoys being involved in local philanthropy including: construction of a playground for the disabled; construction of a new Boy Scouts cabin and Challenger fishing tournaments.

Personal
Drew lives in Chester Springs with his wife, Marjorie and two children who are currently students at Great Valley High School. They have enjoyed participating in the programs offered by GVCO throughout the years.

Rob Cottone Robert Cottone

Robert began his career in the construction industry over thirty years ago. While attending Conestoga High School, Robert started his own general contracting firm focusing primarily on the commercial market.

Professional / Affiliations
Robert began his career in the construction industry over thirty years ago. In one capacity or another, Robert performed or supervised all of the building trades involved in renovation and new construction of businesses, churches and schools in the Philadelphia Main Line area.

Educational Background
Robert graduated from LaSalle University and continued his contracting business that is still an active firm in the Philadelphia area.

Personal
Rob has been married for over 30 years, has 4 children and resides in Malvern, PA. He enjoys cooking, woodworking, golf, basketball, refereeing and has coached for over 20 years.

Tom Curran Tom Curran

Tom Curran established the Great Valley Basketball League (GVBL) with Keith Walsh in 2001 and has been involved with GVCO from the beginning. Over the years his roles with GVCO have included coaching, refereeing, league management, database coordination, business planning, financial oversight, coordination with external partner organizations, and capital campaign fundraising. Tom grew up in Drexel Hill and he and his family moved to Malvern in 1996.

Professional / Affiliations
Tom has been involved in international marketing/business development for environmental instrumentation since 1980. After several business acquisitions Tom joined Lockheed Martin in 2004 and now is the Program Manager for Oceanographic and Meteorological Systems. Over the years Tom has engaged in business in over 100 countries, establishing both local sales representatives and manufacturing licensees throughout the world. Outside of work and GVCO he has served on the Great Valley School District Strategic Planning Committee, the K.D. Markley PTO, and the committee raising $50,000 for the K.D. Markley playground. For many years Tom has been annually recognized with the President’s Gold Volunteer Service Award.

Educational Background
Tom graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in 1975 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from St. Joseph's University in 1979. He attended Drexel University for postgraduate studies focused on international marketing.

Personal
Tom lives in Malvern with his wife Ann. Tom's interests include traveling, watching sports, reading, and backyard projects.

Bud Haly Bud Haly

Bud Haly is a lifelong resident of Chester County and a graduate of Great Valley High School.

Professional / Affiliations
Bud is President of Great Valley Propane and Haly Home Services, an industry he has worked in for 30 + years. Bud served on the Board at the Hilltop Prepatory School.

Personal
Bud lives in Malvern with his wife Joann and two children. Their family participated in and enjoyed the various programs within GVCO.
