Another amazing weekend of football for the Great Valley Junior Patriots. Quite frankly, I don't think there's many things better than fall-weather football. After outstanding games by both of our 120lb teams Friday night, the flag squad started bright and early Saturday morning. A bit painful for a Saturday morning, but it definitely gets the day started right. The 80s team then continued their season with another impressive showing. And in a great display of team building and a need for football, the 100lb team ventured down to Franklin Field to watch Penn and Yale. A special thanks to all of our cheerleaders who continue to demonstrate incredible enthusiasm even as it gets a bit chilly. Sometimes I think it really is just us parents who are really affected by the fall cold.

The end of the season is now here with one last weekend of games for the Junior Patriots. For the first and only time this season we'll have a full slate of games with the Flag starting off the day all the way through to both 120lb teams in the afternoon. The Eagles don't play until 8pm so plan to make a day of it. Invite the family and neighbors so they can get a chance to see why you haven't been able to schedule anything else all fall. And don't forget to mark your calendars for the end of season party on Monday 11/7. More details coming through your coaches but it will be one last opportunity to get everyone together and congratulate all of the boys and girls on a successful season. Around this time we will also be sending out a survey to gather feedback so that we can keep doing the things that worked well and learn where we need to keep improving.
