What a GREAT season so far!!! I have received so many compliments, it is overwhelming! I have also had several inquiries as to when new girls can start signing up for next season already!! Whew! And everyone thinks that 77 girls are a lot! We may break 100 next season.
In any event - just want to remind everyone that sideline cheer practice is still Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6-7pm at GVBL. Competition/Exhibition girls practice Thursday from 6-8pm (beginning September 22nd) and Saturday from 8-11am (beginning September 24th). You are also still expected to attend the sideline practice on Tuesdays. The competition will be held at West Chester University on November 6th - times are still TBD.
The Fall Family Fun Festival is scheduled for October 1st - I hope to see you all in attendance - this is a great event and raises money for our league to pay for field rentals, gym time, equipment, etc...and without such an event the cost of registration would be significantly higher. So please come out and support your Great Valley Football and Cheerleading League! Also please remember to sell ALL of your cow-pie bingo tickets.
The date for our 76ers performance has also been confirmed. We will be performing center court on January 13th against the Washington Wizards. Ticketing information is forthcoming.
