DOUG STRANG

Mr. Strang is the Treasurer of GVCO and also serves on the Finance Committee. Doug was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. He moved to the Philadelphia area upon graduating from Penn State University in 1984. He is a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Professional / Affiliations
Doug has enjoyed a 25-year career in business consulting and as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, serves on the firm’s Global Leadership Team for the Pharmaceutical and Life Science Industry sector. He is a CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). He is a former board member and treasurer of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Educational Background
Doug attended high school at Mainland Regional High School (Linwood, NJ) and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in Accounting in 1984. While at Penn State, Doug was a member of the football team from 1981-85 and played on the school's first National Championship team in 1983. Doug was starting quarterback his Junior and Senior years and was named Captain in 1984. He was awarded the NCAA National Scholar-Athlete Award his senior year. Doug continued his formal education and received his Masters in Business Administration from Villanova in 1997.

Personal
Doug lives in Malvern and with his wife (Andrea) and two children (Danielle and Douglas). His hobbies include coaching various youth sporting programs including football and basketball. He also enjoys playing golf and spending time at the Jersey Shore with family and friends.
